RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FOR CONSUMERS (B2C)

Right of Withdrawal

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period shall be fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, takes possession of the goods.

Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us:

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of standard delivery, without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen (14) days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal.

We will use the same means of payment for the reimbursement as used for the original transaction, including invoice payment for institutions, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

Return of Goods

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which you inform us of the withdrawal from this contract.

You shall bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

This also applies to international returns from abroad.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive
for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable
for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery
for the supply of goods which are not suitable for return due to hygienic reasons.

NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FOR BUSINESS CUSTOMERS (B2B)

There is no right of withdrawal if the customer acts in the exercise of their commercial or self-employed professional activity within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code (BGB).

This applies in particular to:

educational institutions
public authorities
other institutional customers

For business customers, only the contractually agreed rights of cancellation and withdrawal in accordance with our Terms and Conditions for Entrepreneurs shall apply. Returns of goods by business customers are only possible with prior written consent of IKH Didactic Systems/KAFTAN-media.

International Shipping – Additional Notice

For deliveries outside Germany, the mandatory consumer protection regulations of the respective destination country shall apply in addition, insofar as they are mandatory.

The costs of return shipment for international orders shall also be borne by the customer, insofar as legally permissible.
